this evening as the ferry Helsinki - Rostock. The first leg of our journey and so the Adventure Silk Road is finally over. A laughing and a crying eye. We look forward to family and friends to work on a little child, regular life, there is a lot and work up. And it is the Everyday life. But there is still a little time.
any rate we have checked on the Superfast VIII. Having already on Sunday in a Helsinki travel agency were there and had undergone a utopian high price, we were this morning in the sales office of Tallink. There we got a much better price.
The ship is the Superfast VIII, now owned by the
www.tallinksilja.com after the Greeks have withdrawn from the Baltic business.
The ship is in top condition, the staff friendly, we feel comfortable. The journey home has begun.

Schneller und unkomplizierter als wir uns gedacht haben, sind wir wieder in der EU, vorbei die Zeiten der Registrierungen und Kontrollen, Visa, Grenz- und Zollformalitäten.
Die finnischen Zöllner sind nach 14 Grenzübertritten die ersten, die sich für unsere hintere Stoßstange interessieren, in der Werkzeuge verstaut sind. Eigentlich hätten wir bis hier her darin alles mögliche Schmuggeln können.
Für die "Waschmaschine" auf dem Dach des Autos hat sich hingegen überhaupt keiner interessiert.
